Photographers
documented the Amana villages today
with
photographs of the people
and places of the Amana Colonies to add
to the museum collection! The
only rule was the photographs must be
taken in the Amana Colonies
on September 23.

A
note about the date: on September 23, 1855
the Inspirationist settlement in Iowa was
named "Amana," a
Biblical name from the Song of Solomon.
